TEACHING

My teaching philosophy relies on the constant iteration between theory and practice. Particularly when it comes to complex problems surrounding policy and international development, I believe that shifting between theory and practice holds great pedagogical value. Part of my teaching takes a traditional in-class lecture style and seminar formats and part focuses on active fieldwork were students design and collaborate on research and/or practice projects for client organizations such as: UN-OCHA, UN-HABITAT, New York City Council Committee on Women's Issues, Slum/Shack Dwellers International and others.
